What do you guys think?

There is no doubt in my mind that they will and I'll be stuck in auto notify limbo for weeks.

Looking good, if and only if priced properly.

Getting pretty close now. Google captured this, but the article was taken down:

yes very very likely. especially in the US. In europe everything is a bit slower and people wait a bit, there was not a single day where you could not find any R9 290X BF4 edition in europe. always in stock.
Even the GTX 680 was fairly okay to get at the launch in europe in comparison to the US.

Dont forget AMD has a 512bit memory bandwidth bus while the 6GB from nvidia only runs from a 384bit bus

Amazon started selling them. I'll give it a half hour and they'll be sold out.

not with the usual nvidia pricing , they will be certainly half the price of the pro model with 0% of the feature since you don't have the drivers , and honnestly 12 go without the pro drivers is just completely useless , the unlocked no tdp limited special edition are likely to be soo expensive like all nvidia card before the 290x launch ,that they will end up being a terribly bad deal on price/perf.
