I needz 6gigz as well. Might have to go with a 290x 6GB with custom cooling instead.

pretty sure there wont be a 6GB 290x that memory config wouldn't make sense on that card. Maybe 8GB though

Well the 690 effectively having just 2GB of RAM was just stupid. Dual 4GB 680s was the sweet spot. But you have a Titan already, if they make a 6GB version all you'll be gaining is 192 cores... That's not even an upgrade.

There won't be a 6GB, it's not compatible with the 512 bus. They will probably offer 8GB custom cards.

I meant to say upgrade to SLI.

As it stands I can buy a new Titan for $1000 or a used one for ~$750. I'd rather sell my Titan and go with 780 Ti SLI if the Ti had 6GB. For $750 each I'd be getting better performance from new cards than Titan SLI for about the same net cost as another used Titan. Not to mention the potential for custom PCBs and a better OC. I'd rather buy a used Titan for SLI than go with 3GB 780 Ti though.

The only reason I want to upgrade is for more AA and/or 3840x2400 downsampling in newer games. One Titan is fine for me using normal MSAA at 1600p. BF4, Arma 3 and the Witcher 3 have built in support for SSAA, that's what I'm shooting for. Newer games rely very heavily on deferred rendering and have tons of transparent textures. I absolutely detest FXAA/SMAA.

I cant see them going all out and not having it be 6gb. Will consider this fake until most leaks. Every leak untill now said nothing about this. Theres not even a real source.

Why not use GPUZ 0.7.4 that added support for the GTX 780 TI

Why? We had our Titans since late February/early March. Why in the world would we be pissed about a fully unlocked GK110 when the cards are 8months old?

We will just purchase 2 x 780Ti's for SLi. No big deal, finally something better than a Titan!

Totally agree with you thumb.gif.

Bold move not releasing it with more than 3GB if this is true. Stupidly bold if you ask me, especially with those 290X crossfire results smashing the GTX Titan SLI. Card needs at least 4GB for 4K and above. Most titles I tested with the GTX 780 Classified were fine with 3GB but how does BF4 handle VRAM at 4K with it maxed, without AA it might be alright but with surely 3GB is toast?
