Those feature the same 2Gbit revision D memory chips that 2400C9, 2600C10 and 2666C10 kits are based on. Even with the worst of luck, those OEM sticks will do DDR3-2133 at 9-11-11 or DDR3-2400 at 10-12-12.

Wish the miracle RAM was still around on Newegg. frown.gif

I'll back him up.

Have the 16GB kit too, and it's shorter than the MITX-sized retention clips of my MSI Z77IA-E53!

If they say it will run at 2133Mhz, then it will run at 2133Mhz. G.skill is good memory.

"...fastest RAM available, culminating in a 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3-3000 kit rated at CL12-14-14-35 at 1.65V."

It must be legitimate because there are no DDR3 chips rated faster than 2133 MHz, maybe 2400 MHz, or for 1.65V normal operating voltage. biggrin.gif

Just because a product is guaranteed to work at certain specs doesn't mean it almost always will work, and I've had a lot, lot more failures with memory modules that had heatsinked, overvolted, overclocked, or no-name chips (about 10%, all with lifetime warranties) than modules with with prime chips run within specs (1 -- not 1% but 1, and it was bad soldering).
