Thanks for all the input guys! I ended up purchasing a ASUS PB278Q off Amazon for $449.95 + shipping. It had been used for 3 months and was in brand new condition minus a light scratch on the base. It'll be here Tuesday afternoon! The main factor for going with this monitor was really the price. I just couldn't justify a more expensive monitor when I got this one for a steal. The seller took new pictures for me and showed me the whole monitor also guaranteed no dead pixels.

Thanks again guys for all the valuable feedback. I just got the ASUS monitor from the UPS man today and it is amazing. The picture quality is the best that I have had a privilege to own. So far I have not noticed and input lag/delay. Will test it out later tonight while playing some BF4. COD:Ghosts seemed to run fine with no issues maxed out at 1440p with my 2x 290x's.
