Hi
If you could list what case, budget, and (if applicable) what experience you have with water cooling(custom loops) it makes it easier for us to answer your question better.

Considering I don't know what overclock you are aiming for and what AIO's will fit in your case, I can give you my experience with the FX-4170(FX-4100 with a higher stock clock). With a Noctua NH-D14(Air cooling equivalent of a H100) I was able to get 5.1Ghz stable at 1.58v and a max temperature of 72C and I ran 4.8Ghz at 1.42v and a max temperature of 54C for my 24/7 OC. From what I have seen the 4.6-4.8 range is quite easily obtainable and common for on the Bulldozer series.

I would recommend getting the best one you can afford and the best one that fits in your case, try sticking with Corsair coolers, I have only heard horror stories about the Antec ones.

Separate waterblock, pump and Rad is the only way to fly if you truly want to reap the benifits of water cooling. Those all in ones are only marginally better then high end air coolers.

My fx4100 does 5ghz+ on water. 4.6+ should be easy for most samples.

You can also go with closed loop water cooling system like the corsair H80i or from Antec. This will save you the trouble of setting up different components and it will make thins simple. My setup runs fine with a the similar setup with decent temps to spare. just make sure you have fans to suck all that hot air away from your case.

I know this is an old post but for what it is worth, I got 4.84GHz at 1.416v, cores locked and none parked, slight overclock on the FSB (216MHz), CPU multiplier at 22.5, slight increases to various areas (NB, HT, CPU NB) memory overclocked 8% GPU's both overclocked, H100 cooler, 23°C idle and 54°C under load, PSU is a DPS 750w and the motherboard is a Sabertooth 990FX R2.0, RAM is XPG v1 1600MHz o/c 1720MHz...no BSODS blazes through games, emulation, productivity...absolutely insane what I put this poor chip through. The FX-4100 is the throw-away have you of the 8 core that didn't make it, throw away of the 6 core that didn't make it and voila there is your 4 core (dual physical- 4 logical core)
