Overclocking 4770k without a dedicated graphics card

Hey Bros, happy Friday

I just bought all the parts for my new build, minus a graphics card, and I was curious, if your using the hd4600 integrated graphics, will it hinder you from overclocking the processor to 4.4-4.8ghz if you don't have an actual graphics card? Thanks homies

Yes because it is adding another form of processing on the CPU. Just wait till there is a GPU in the system since adding different components can change the stability of the overclock

If you want to overclock CPU while waiting for the card, just do it, It shouldn't matter if you only stress the CPU while hd4600 just sits in desktop. I in fact removed the gpu while overclocking just to spare 100's of reboot cycles on the card. Iam yet to see proof for igpu affecting the overclock.
