If you removed the 5.25" bay and the hdd's you would have a lot of extra space for maybe the PSU in the front or something like that. That in turn would give you more space for a cpu cooler and other components.

What you want to do with these cases is just to get as much of the stuff you don't need out of there so that you can start making your own layout that would be better suited for the task at hand.

Seems that way. I am going to get rid of the Floppy and the 5.25 drives and going to switch to a laptop drive. I think theres enough clearence between the PSU and the heat sink to put a Low profile cooler. As fo what hard ware I will put will prolly be a AM2+ or 775 socket. I will prolly upgrade the PSU to a more modern one. Im looking aroundthe web for SFX build since the wiki says these PSU are designed for small form factor builds.
