the Capstone has two 4+2 pins so i'm safe

For the PSU.
With 2 7750.
1) If you don't oc anything then you will be fine.
2) If you don't oc them you will be fine and you can oc the 6300.
3) If you do oc them with an oc 6300 you will need 500- 550w PSU .

what about one 7750, and one 7770. I think that is what he is looking at. They do crossfire together, though you probably wouldn't want to OC either of them in that config.

currently he's got an athalon 2 x3, which I assumed was no big deal. Didn't think OC would raise voltages that much. Interesting.

What's the best I could do with my motherboard and that PSU, not necessarily involving a 8350 and 7770?

6300 mild overclock, toss the 7750, get a 270x, do not overclock it. Very decent single screen gaming box. Might maybe be albe to do a 280x. Not sure.
