It might I would go talk to homecinema-PC about that. he uses these 3820s to put most hexcore users to shame
I think higher CPU ghz makes it faster

I'll see if I can look him up. I just want to make sure I'm not shelling out the extra $$$ for RAM that my CPU won't even be able to support.
