Any way to see if I have got 8.1?

Any way to see if I actually installed 8.1? My mom acidentially said no to installing it, and now it does not show up in the "app store".

I knew that screen, I just sort of assumed that they wouldn´t display the version number in that obvious a place, MS being MS and all. Is there a way to get an installer outside the hideously insidious app store? It´s broken for me, can´t update apps or anything.

No didn´t mean it like that, just meant that I had checked there already but I thought it was somewhere different tongue.gif Dxdiag gave me a more specific version number, though. need to get a hold of a standalone installer or create a new user since my app store is somehow broken. Seems to be a common problem, can´t update or install any new apps, and 8.1 doesn´t appear in the store.

Just FYI, another very simple way to check the full version number is to type "ver" in CMD.EXE, like this:
