Looking for a new gaming mouse! - Page 2

The above looks like a solid choice for a mouse, it's just the gloss that would personally put me off. That stuff is a finger gunk magnet.

As far as the thickness of the cable goes. It is only ever an issue if your desk is cramped. But I swapped it out with any old micro usb or whatever the cable is called. I'm fairly certain there are loads of people with even bigger loads of those buggers laying around.

As far as mass is concerned. It hasn't bothered me at all. If anything it's helped me become more decisive in my mouse movement (less circling around a button before actually hitting it) but this is not only subjective, but it is also very true that I don't think mice shluld be heavier than this. I use it for work and play alike so it sees at least 10hrs of activity a day. And I do believe that if you spend more (or less even, depending on your arm and shoulder) you could start noticing the physical strain.

Then again. I suppose this is true of any mouse.

Ok, I've been looking at the mice mentioned here and here's what I think...

The "Anker High Precision Gaming Mouse" looks nice, has rubber on it witch is nice especially for the price but I think it need's a few more buttons, it only has one more (usable for me) button then my current mouse.

The "Gamdias Zeus", now, this one is interesting.... It has the buttons, it has those fancy adjustments, witch are nice, and your pinky doesn't drag along the table/mat, but there's not many video reviews on it, especially in English, and it's a bit of an unknown company, so I don't know what their customer support is like but still, I might give it a try.

The G602, maybe too many buttons on the side (but that can be solved) and no wired option witch is a big no for me (I just don't like wireless).

The G700/s, I like like how many buttons there are and their layout, has a wired option but from what people are saying the cable is a bit stiff, I already found the solution for that if this becomes a problem (another cable). People also say the wireless sucks and the batteries don't last long, well, this doesn't bother me one bit since if I go for it, I'm going to use it wired. The mouse also has an amazing rated 20 million-clicks of lifespan and it's from Logitech, I like Logitech it's a quality company.

So yeah... right now it's a bit like "Gamdias Zeus" vs "Logitech G700/s" worriedsmiley.gif
