7990 Bsod 144hz - Page 2

So I finally got a response from that one guy who runs the 5 monitors @ 144hz with a 7990.

"144Hz has only been working on 13.4 and 13.9 WHQL drivers. All the beta drivers break the 144Hz somehow and yes AMD knows about it. I am actually sponsored by AMD and just recently got sponsored by Club 3D too. I am running the version 2 7990 (Malta) idk which´╗┐ one you have. 144Hz will only work with displayport or the DVI connection. HDMI will not work. And you forgot to subscribe to my channel :-) . Anything else u want to know add me on Steam.... Elmnator"

Well looks like your only option is to use 120hz. TBH, it's not that big a deal. You wont notice the difference. Not only that, but it's also easier to consistently stay in the 120 fps range than the 144.

So OP, have your friend try the 13.9 driver. If that doesn't work, then try the 13.4 driver. Those are his/her only hope.
