I recently saw on the nweb as of yesterday or maybe last week that gigabyte just put out a Gigabyte GTX 780 GHz Edition (GV-N780GHZ-3GD) windstorm 3x revision anmd it has a stock clock speed of 1019 MHz and with boost 1071 MHz

im sure it can overclock a lot further is the supposed new revision b2 or somthin. well I was wondering if there was a 770 out there like that I could get cause I want an NVIDIA am always opting for the newest that I can afford and I don't think I could afford a 780 but an good OC card like that one sounds alright.

if that is confusing, then basicly what have people found to overclock the best without to much (very sp[aring voltage increase) or great speed at stock volts with or come factory clocked with a good factory cooler. for a NVIDIA 770 preferably a newer revision if that exists.

preferably one by EVGA or ASUS or MSI or if theres a better one that too

Best overclockers are the MSI Lightning or EVGA Classified. Both very good cards for both 770 and 780.
Lightning has a very good stock cooler, EVGA one should be ok too.

ok well let me ask you is the 4gb version neccisary for 2540x1440 gaming? because there is a 2gb variant and a 4gb variant of both msi and evg

In most games it's just fine really. I had 2x 670 with 2gb before my current 780's, and even with my 780's I have yet to see more than 2games in total use more than 2gb (personal experience).
If you rarely change gpu's it might be a good decision to buy 4gb. But 2gb should be fine for another year or two really.
