Best webcam for $40?

As the title suggests ^

It's not really for me, My family just wants me to have one as I live far away now and they are willing to get one for $40.

I know $40 won't get a good one, but there has to be a "best" option at this price.

I use the Logitech c525 which is less than $40 on Amazon. The quality of the image and the mic quality is perfectly acceptable for Skype. Compared to the high end offerings, this one is only 720p, has plastic lenses and mono sound (vs 1080p, glass and stereo). It is better than the cheaper ones which are fixed focus instead of auto focus and 3 mp vs the 8 mp on this cam. Certainly it won't be confused for a professional cinema camera but it is certainly at least as good as most cellphone cameras.

Refurbished Logitech + good lighting. I got a refurbed c525 for $30.

Mono sound doesn't bother me, I have a Pro quality microphone so that's not a feature I care about.

1080p is also not something I care about 720p is perfect, I just want it to be "smooth" and not a slideshow.
