Hmmmm, I'm not sure if this is a problem or now built in.

Can someone else confirm that when typing with the keyboard there is no longer any sound. I swear there was at the beginning and now its gone but I just did a factory reset and it is not there from the start.

There was sound on mine, but I'm using SwiftKey and disable both sound and vibration.
Have you looked in the parameters to see if it's disabled?
Edit: just tested and indeed sound was disabled. I remember getting an update for keyboard stuff yesterday, might be that.
To get it back you must enable it in keyboard setting, not only in the sound tab in parameters, then it works .

Yeah I have it enabled but seems that the sound is very very low. I went to the advanced settings for keyboard and took off the volume of system default and put it to 100. I'm also have issues trying to tether. I had no issues with my N4. The first thing I did was root the phone so I'm going to unroot it and see if it still is an issue.
