That "girlfriend on valentine's day" mentality should stop. Even if it doesn't stop, please, be mad for a day and get over it.

It's only been about a day now sooooo, still they always give TF2 a treat every year and they gave dota 2 one last year so everyone was excited. No they shouldn't have freaked out and spammed a lot of pages but they still have every right to be disappointed in valve.

Name one game that doesn't announce special events even when they've been been reoccurring for years on end.

Hell, Valve itself announced Scream Fortress months in advance tongue.gif

It's cool, we had adorable chicken dressed up as ghost in CS:GO. They're so cute.

What does announcing it way ahead of time have to do with it being in or not? By that logic they would never start because most of the time special events are a surprise the first time. Like when steam sales start (Not weekly ones or daily obviously but the big ones or publisher weeks).

It has to do with you complaining that something which hasn't been announced isn't there, and then whining even more that it hasn't been announced it's not going to be there.
Which is utterly ridiculous.

Just no. They got the game that they bought, no one was promised any event like for Halloween. They act like entitled brats.

Piss the people off, pay the price. No longer are consumers individual isolated money bags that can be ignored. The consumer is now networked with other consumers. WE decide what happens to the gaming industry because our voices are what changes the course of gaming evolution. If we do not agree, we react, and our reaction is heard. If it is not addressed, our money goes elsewhere.
