Question about copper pipe tubing - Page 2

Yet it will hold 100 times the PSi that pump can put out, still last 100 years without leaking, is easier to work with, (for certain definitions of easy) and doesn't require expensive tools to bend. Ridgid is nice, but unless he keeps taking the thing apart weekly or kicking the inside of his computer regularly there;s no reason there should be a problem.

it;s less rugged than rigid, but it's still the toughest thing in that box.

Who made these rules? Probably a plumber. Plumbers hate soft copper because can be broken by repeatedly stepping on it, won't solder, and is easy enough to work with that home owners don't need them any more.

Consumer grade PEX is even worse. Makes them completely redundant. Ive had plumbers in my buildings look at the stuff with pure hatred.

Annealed (soft) copper tubing is perfectly fine for watercooling. B Negatives pipe bending guide is one of the best. There are many options for copper tubing and pipe, I would just explore all possibilities first then make a decision on what you will use.

yep, I can get some 3/8" coiled from home depot, I have to go with
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Push-In-Male-Fittings-3-8-OD-x-1-4-BSPP-G-Thread-10-PC-/260453196642 fittings

since my build is kind of blue theme, these fittings work for me biggrin.gif
decide to pull the trigger and hope to get it done by next week.

Hmm those fittings hold 3/8" OD? Are you sure the 3/8 tubing is 3/8" OD? Because 3/8's tubing is a standard... Not a size. Its actually 1/2" OD.

looking at the ad those are not for copper, they are for plastic tubing. Also they are for britih measurement fittings. You may want to see if you can unpull that trigger.
