Weird readings in Afterburner with 670GTX

So in the last couple of days, I've been playing BF4 quite heavily, and my GPUS hit mid 80s during play, which is fairly normal under load for my cards (SLI Gainward Phantoms 670GTX) But I've noticed Afterburner has been acting odd, or showing some odd readings.

Like last night, after i was done gaming, about a half hour later I noticed my GPU fans were spinning quite loudly, so I checked the temps and they were at about 65 or so, which is what its like when I'm playing a moderate game. I figured it was cos I had three youtube vids open in tabs and closed two, and that seemed to help.

Then today, I finish playing and go have a shower, leaving afterburner running, and I come back, and I see my GPU usage has been spiking regulalry every few seconds. Going from 0% usage to about 50% and back again. Both gpus, though the second one only up to about 40%.

I dont think anything is wrong with my cards, cos I'm not getting BSODs or artifacting or anything, but just for peace of mind, has anyone else had similar things show up on afterburner?

Same as you but it was also falsely reading my core clocks, they were reading about 75-100MHz higher than they were.

I eventually ditched Afterburner and now I use Precision-X.

Yep. It's based on the same thing that Afterburner is (RivaTuner) but I have had better luck with it.
