A better option would be to pick up a cheap 5xxx series card like this 5450 to run your VGA monitor.

You could also try to use FLEM to mod the latest driver to run the 7950 and the 4650. I have never used this program for modding drivers, but it may be worth a shot before buying a new card. More info on FLEM: Guru3D; FLEM website

Good luck getting your second monitor running. I had a similiar issue when I wanted to add a small auxillary monitor with only a single mini displayport left on my 7970. I ended up adding a passive single slot 5450 to run the monitor, and it worked out very well.

Yup, that's what I was afraid of. I had it working fine before with a GT440 when I was using it as a PhysX card. I've gone back to that, even though it's not ideal. I just didn't bother installing any other drivers except the main Nvidia one. Currently typing from two monitors, although it's a hybrid of sorts.

Guess I can't use this 4650 then.
