Virtual Desktop with Eyefinity

Im new to Eyefinity, and already cant stand the need to mess with settings every time I want to play games/ do work.

1) Does anyone know of an efficient way to handle Eyefinity mode (other than hotkeys)

I think what I would prefer is a Virtual Desktop Program that lets me set independent resolutions, this way my "Desktop1" would be 3x at 1920x1080, and my "Desktop2" would be at 5760x1080. This way I can differentiate between gaming and working.

2) Does anyone know of a god virtual desktop software that can do this?

I have started looking into Dexpot Virtual Desktop Software, which looks pretty nice and gives me the ability to have multiple resolutions. Only issue is you NEED TO HAVE Eyefinity turned on in "Desktop2" to create the spanned monitor (sounds obvious). When you switch back to "Desktop1" it causes the original extended 3 Monitors at 1920x1080 to be duplicated monitors. Then if I change any settings in "Desktop1" it disables Eyefinity in "Desktop2".

3) Has anyone used this software before, or has any clue why things become mirrored?

Thank you in advance!

I am unclear on your concept... you want ""Desktop1" would be 3x at 1920x1080, and my "Desktop2" would be at 5760x1080." to be done in a form that does not use hotkeys...???

But it is so simple to just set both those in the CCC and assign two separate hotkeys and switch between both to game and to do work...

Now if you want to always be in Eyefinity but instead of having the pages and all you do spam the whole entirety of the three screen than sure but sadly I do not know such a method.

The problem is that I use some other programs (like Fences) that dont play well when switching resolutions. Im not sure what my end goal is either, I just know I dont like my icons getting all messed up when switching :-p

I have been playing with Dexpot and Have gotten to to work thus far with multiple desktops and resolution switching. I am still trying to figure out how to make it work with fences, But it does have its own icon switching feature built in.

Still playing, just trying to find out if anyone has a better way to handle multiple resolutions.
