New CMstorm Devastator mouse

Thread Starter

Looks like you can only get it with a keyboard. Says it's 800/1600/2000 DPI on their website, but the Chinese box says 1000 DPI as one of the steps. Shape looks good, but I can't figure out what sensor it is. Is that an Avago 3050 on the bottom screenshot?

it looks very flat

This mouse isn't that "new". Also, i think it is an OEM product. I thought I saw Zalman offer it before.

The CM Storm Reaper is newer than this mouse.

These kb+mouse combo's typically do much better in asian region. Logitech and Razer has worked alternative combo's based around Abyssus and G1(00) for the past few+ years.

Lens resembles that of Avago 8 pin family. 3050 or oriented product would be a logical guess.

Is it ambi, with side buttons on both sides?

so a devastator to compete with a zowie mico, logitech g100, razer abyssus.
Sidebutton placements looks problematic and mousewheel looks cheap.
Curious if its flatter then the fk wich was already very low in height.

And the USB connector doesnt look gold plated.

That doesn't help, and frequently the actual contacts are still gold plated.

Just by looking at it, I like it. But google says it has a lot of shiny lights all around, which i always hate. The biggest problem I could see (besides shiny lights), is the cable, which looks dirt cheap. One probably needs superman hands in order to bend it.
