At 130+ BCLK @ 4810 I can run a lot of benchmarks flawlessly but a few will cop out every single time and crash to desktop, had some NV control panel corruption too. Which would indicate the GPUs are kicking out.

For these voltages as-long as the temps are kept low degradation will be practically zilch. 4.875 is very impressive though. I can boot and have a tamper at up to 5Ghz but getting it stable above 4.8 has proven difficult
4.875 is the highest stable clock for some of the better chips. There are a few 5ghz chips, but binning many, many chips can be extremely expensive. Although, I don't believe I have seen many give over 1.5v a go since the info we have been getting is 1.4-1.45 is probably the most you want for 24/7 on water.

A few people who regularly put these through LN2 and various other high stress benches have said anything over 1.45v has seen fairly rapid degradation.

Not sure how true this is though as I know of many including myself that have been at or around 1.4v for a long time without any adverse effects. 1.5v is definitely suicide voltage on these lol. Even with heavy W/C and temps barely exceeding 55C I've yet to dare attempt 1.5v runs

If the 4930k isn't enough, what other choice do you have?

The 4930k will do.teaching.gif

I've only the little ol' X79-Deluxe. Hasn't stopped me from overclocking my 4960 to 4.77 and 3 780Tis wink.gif

Rampage/Black is a nice board but I've never felt the need for a lot of the sub features.
