i think my video card just blew out

i was just playing my xbox 360 and all of a sudden i turn back to my pc and the monitor is all different colors, i cant see a thing. I tried restarting, didnt work. I took the video card out, blew of fdust, replugged everything in, didnt work. I havent changed settings on my card ina very long time, it was just random. I really need my pc back (this is my moms) because i have a counter strike tourny I also tried resetting bios by removing the battery, didnt do antyhing. I turn on my pc and all see is colors everywhere, cant depict anything

video card: evga FX 5700 ultra 128mb

ahh man, that sucks hard... i have a 5700U it was a pretty decent card back in the day.

try a different monitor, IT could have died instead of the vidcard...

other then that i can only think that maybe yes your card is pushing up daisies... go out a get like a 6200/6600, you can put your Christmas mulah to good use.

check if any thermal paste leaked over the circuts
My old Fx-5500 did the same thing. I just wiped it with alcohol and it fixed it.
