Battlefield 4 Performance with SLI'd GTX 770s

Thread Starter

The 331.65 drivers are junk, dual GTX 770s yields 40-45fps on Ultra + HBAO with no AA. With SLI disabled, no change.

With SLI disabled on 320.18 drivers, everything's smooth as silk, never dips below 85fps (my monitor is 85Hz, VSync). Beautiful. If I go to enable SLI, however, framerates struggle to stay above 50-55. What gives? I'm hoping nVidia will release a new set of Beta drivers soon to address this issue. Just got these cards and I want to use them to their full potential!

Has anyone found a "sweet spot" as far as drivers and SLI configuration goes? At the moment I'm just playing with SLI disabled on the 320.18 drivers since that's been the best performance so far.

I'm going to try Force Alternate Frame Rendering 2 to see if that'll help anything. It did when BF3 was first released.

EDIT: Force Alternate Frame Rendering, both 1 and 2, are no joy. Option one was 2-3fps, option 2 was about 20fps.

I get 82-118 fps during gameplay with everything maxed, also 4x aa.

Also using the newest drivers.

I'm at 1920x1200, 85Hz. With SLI disabled and just using the one card, I *never* dipped below 85fps. Not even once, throughout three maps. It was intense! I use a CRT so I don't use any anti-aliasing.

331.65's are terrible for me too on 680 Classified SLI, 30-45 fps that feels really really stuttery.

I use .58's

1920x1200, ultra with post process off, 4xmsaa and 125% textures. Min 70 fps.

I have the same problem. Cannot find any help anywhere. gtx770 SLI hurts my performance. Keeps me at around 50-90 frames. Disabling SLI gives me 110-200 on low settings. i have the benq 120hz. Video cards aren't even under full load when the game runs. 2600k @ 4.8ghz. Drivers are just awful and the game isn't optimized for SLI. Same goes for COD ghosts. Ghosts is trash and i want a refund. 60fov and 91fps cap, not to mention the game just flat out looks terrible.

Same with me, my GTX 780s are OCed to 1200mhz and my FX 8320 is at 4.6ghz, I get less than 70% usage and cores 1-2, less than 80% on cores 2-4, and less than 40% an 4-8.
I'm not being bottlenecked and my 780s sit at 68% usage easily or below with everything on ultra preset never going below 70fps, avg 110.
-On a 1080p 60hz monitor
Today my Qnix 2560x1440p monitor comes in so maybe that'll help my frames, it seems that higher resolutions on this game(tri monitor/1440p+) get way better scaling.
