Thread Starter
Through the text based windows repair (on the windows xp cd) command prompt how am i able to copy the file my music inside my documents from my c:\\ to my other hd which is i think f:\\ ? I need to do this because i was getting blue screens with a weird technical information code and now my computer wont go passed the windows load screen without restarting not even in safe mode! So iam going to format quick to see if it works! If you are interested in the error go to this thread-->http://www.overclock.net/operating-s...ustration.html

i am not sure but i dont think you can move form one disk to another just different spaces on the same disk why dont u create a partition on the other disk and set your main drive to a slave without formmatting it and put windows on the other disk for now and use it to recover the data of your main hard drive
but here is everything u can do with the recovery console but it is not very reader friendly as it is by microshaft http://technet2.microsoft.com/Window....mspx?mfr=true
