GPU upgrade thoughts

I'm not pulling any triggers right away, I'm just trying to make an upgrade plan. Currently running a EVGA 2GB GTX 670, with a i7 3770k (4.8OC), 1440p.

I'm debating my next GPU upgrade, the plan originally was to SLI 670's eventually - but now I'm worried about VRAM. I'm not really in any need to buy anything now and I don't mind waiting even a year or a year and a half *or buying tomorrow..*

Should I just hold off, sell the 670 and buy a nice single GPU?

Try to trade my 670 for a 4GB model + some cash, and SLI a second one?

Or am I over thinking this and 2 2GB 670's wont have VRAM issues (i'm thinking they will...)

OP R9 290 launches tomorrow . wait for custom R9 290 cards. once you get them to 1.2 ghz you will be close to GTX 670 SLI. but with the consistency of a single GPU thumb.gif

Wait for the non-ref 290/290X or get a nice deal on a 780 now.
