Those are Maingear gaming laptops right there. That's ridiculous. Also a beautiful trend that needs to be encouraged until our gaming laptops only exist in one dimension.

Maingear's new Pulse 17 is getting there. Riding on the wave generated by Razer's 14-inch Blade and 17-inch Blade Pro, as well as its own Pulse 14, Maingear's Pulse 17 is essentially a PC game serving platter. It's .85 inches thick, .03 inches thinner than the Razer Blade Pro. That makes it eligible for the "World's Thinnest 17-Inch Gaming Laptop" title, though it's got to share with MSI's GS70.

Maingear's Pulse 17 is available today at Maingear's website. It starts at $2099.

I thought I knew what sexy was...

I was wrong. drool.gif

It is great to see MSI putting these out to OEM's already, and for the price conscious of us here in the UK Medion quite often get on that bandwagon smile.gif

Calling it the same, only counts if they fill the barebones with the same bits
could be a different cpu/gpu/hdd configuration

although I would reckon there is a limit to which CPU the thermals can support, and the GPU on such a slim device is probably not an MXM type, but I could be wrong

Not a bad price if you think about it compared to say a Macbook pro with a larger screen, dedicated video card, and more RAM.

Spec list seems exactly the same. only an option for 512gb superraid but thats another $350 extra O.o

That's interesting. Though I was kinda hoping for something better than the 765M at that size (maybe at least a 770M?), considering the 14" Razer Blade has the same GPU.
