External Fans on Top of 800D

I plan on mounting the top fans for my radiator on the outside of my 800D. I have the koolance shroud to make it look pretty, etc. I was wondering if you have to drill holes on the top to feed the fan wires down to the inside or if anyone who has done this has any tips. Thanks

yes you will need to Drill some wholes for the cables.
Just drill them near the front / back of the rad, so you can cover it with the fan shroud.

Love my 800D Often thought on doing the same thing. I modified a Lian Li PC 1000 Black case to house a 3x120 rad on the top and also had to drill holes for the wiring. The hole doesn't have to be neat just put a rubber grommet around the cut mark and it looks Pro wink.gif

Holes are cut, I'll get some pics up next time I go screw with it. Gotta finish up all of my college/scholarship apps first...axesmiley.png
