R9 280X Display Driver Issue

Thread Starter
So i just got the new Sapphire Vapor-X R9 280X, put it into my system, and boot it up (using the graphics card). To my surprise and dissapointment, my 24 inch screen was only a 20 inch screen now??. I installed the drivers (from CD) the restarted, no difference. I then decided to download the latest drivers from AMD. Still no change. I really wanted to like AMD, sadly it has let me down once again. Is there any way to fix this.
I have tried playing around with the resolution in both windows and catalyst control center, i can't get it to display 1080p at 24 inches.

PS im using the Asus VG248QE monitor

better ask sapphire support....

create a ticket.... if they cant fix, they might ask you to RMA your card.

The drivers of the monitor are up to date (just downloaded them from: http://www.asus.com/Monitors_Projectors/VG248QE/#support)

Still no change.

I might just go with a GTX 770 instead.
