I know that ps4 is stronger than xbox one but it was still the same with ps3> xbox 360. 10 years later, we still didn't see any difference in any game. So both console got a small buff in power and suddenly one console is a mega supercomputer from nasa while the other ... I call Bul**it. We all know that cod is just reshipping his previous games from last year with new guns and other extras...
So you are telling me now that the current xbox 360/ps3 + hd pack version = xbox one/ps4 version ( stop lying to yourself) won't work in 1080p 60fps on one console but will on another....
If at least they would had created a new engine for their new game which could have explained that it was having trouble adapting to one console.
I can't wait for another fps game to come out in real 1080p for the xbox one proving that activision are just a bunch of liars lol
btw: im no xbox fanboy, always playing on my pc
Really? Have you missed all the threads comparing the gfx differences between various games on ps3 & 360? Both exclusives and multiplats have been compared to death here on various minutia. PS3 has this better quality, 360 has this advantage, over and over. Long story short, the PS3 was not as clear cut more powerful then the 360 as the PS4 is to the Xbone. The PS3 had some areas where it was better, but it took a quality dev to get all that performance out of it. Naughty Dog is a great example.
Most of the "shock" and faux outrage would be non-existent if MS didn't hype the hell out of "Cloud
" computing, like it was the end all of console performance. Since you may have missed most of those threads, I'd hazard a guess that you missed the many threads detailing the work that was put into the engine for COD:Ghosts. Granted it isn't a totally brand new engine from the ground up, but they have put serious effort into rewriting large portions of the code to the point that it really isn't the same engine that the first COD ran on.
In addition, there is absolutely no evidence that Sony paid of Activision for this "stunt", there isn't any music involved to a large extent with this product so there is no need for Sony to go all espionage here. If anything, MS paid Activision extra to get this launched right, which is well within the bounds of corporation actions.
Finally, the news coming out may lead to the tentative
conclusion that exclusives will run good on the consoles, as they usually do, and multiplats will look better/run better slightly
on the PS4 if relatively equal time is put into programming for each machine. We will need 2-3 years to see in that guess holds up though.
