Here is the log I got from that. And now that I have messed around for a lil bit with my comp. It seems to only be hanging when I alt tab to a different window. The only other thing I am coming up with is I also got a new keyboard but these tend to be pretty universal.

It could just be your HDD thrashing. Alt+Tabbing in and out of windows uses alot of ram, and since you have so little on your computer, there is a big chance that alot of the programs you are alt tabbing between are being paged. If thats the case slowdown like you are experiencing is expected, and assuming everything else on your computer is ok (drivers, no spyware/virus's, etc) the only way to remedy the problem is with more ram.

Nm, Im not sure that all of those are the results of a virus upon further inspection, however, I am sure that:

O4 - HKCU\\..\\Run: [startkey] C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\server.exe

this is the result of one. Upon further research, the following also appears to be a trojan/backdoor:

O4 - HKLM\\..\\Run: [MSWindowsUpdate] C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\winsecurityxp\\mswinup.exe

It is safe to delete these two through HJT. I am not sure about CTFMON, some articles say it is a trojan, while others say it is a legitimate part of Microsoft Office.

ok got rid of those two items i left CTFMON, I have heard of this before and never found a straight answer on whether its bad or not (granted even if its from Microsoft its still not good). And so far seems to have fixed the problem. I cant believe my comp hasnt been put together for a full day and i had crap slowing it down already. Unless the problem starts again this thread seems to be dead unless someone wants to tell me if my specs are capable to be overclocked havent had too much success with overclocking in the past but new system opens new doors
