And even if the 780 Ti ends up being faster than the Titan, it's still going to be horrible value for money. That's the main problem with Nvidia's current GK110 cards; their dies are bigger, the cards cost more to produce, and in a lot of cases, they're slower than AMD's cards. That's a problem for big green.
Titan OC being 5-10% faster than the 290X OC means that when the 290 has been OC'd you'll see Titan OC around 14-19% faster than 290 OC...
This is 780 non ref. cooling reviews all over again. People actually thought ACX/windforce/jetstream 780 > Titan even once OC'd. Reality couldn't be further away from the truth. And lets forget NV cards for a while. Do you actually think that the 290 is really as fast as a 290X? Really? Surely you can't think that's true.
Obviously this is good if it drops prices across the board because the masses who don't understand boost functions will see the reviews. But we're on OCN, lets not actually prove that even after 2 years OCN still doesn't understand what boost features on GPUs do.
