I'll try and push it to 5ghz and check temps and post them on here. I am using a 560rad to cool just the CPU which is overkill I know but I'm waiting for 780Ti SLI and I'll put them under water too. I doubt my temps will be too low then.

Whats the max temp on those processors? Recently got one myself, but havent overclocked it yet. Been with amd for the past 10 years...

Well depends really.. I dont want to see 85+ so if I can get 5ghz under 85 degrees at full load im happy. Gaming never maxes out load on the cores so should be fine. Temps are warmer with the 4770k. Im not going to delid.

Have you delidded your cpu?
Edit: Nvm. Anyway you really should because it would drop those 4.8GHz temps to something like 50-55 too.
