I think my HDD is dying. Not 100% sure though.

So I keep hearing what I think is 1 of my HDD's trying to read (or do something that's causing it to run) and It sounds like it's speeding up for about 2 seconds then it slows down. It keeps happening about every 5-10 seconds.

I downloaded CrystalDiskInfo and ran it. One of my HDD is in a Caution Status. It's marked yellow on "Reallocated Sectors Count" When I looked up posts on this site people said that the people who get this have HDD's that are going to die sooner or later.

Do you think that's what's causing the noisy HDD?

Backup all of your data immediately and format the HDD, then redo the partitions. That should fix the problem, but it's much easier said than done. Backing up the HDD will take a while, and formatting+partitioning is a lengthy process which takes some experience. I suggest looking this up, because if you buy a new HDD, you'd need to do that anyways.
