Razer DeathAdder 2013 - right mouse button

I know how poor this is for a first post, but I desperately wanted to know if anyones right mouse button for there DeathAdder 2013 felt the same as mine? The left mouse button makes a much louder "click" noise and feels nice to press down on. The right mouse button on the other hand... the noise it makes is dull, not as loud and no where near as "nice" of a click sound as the left one.

I had a Razer Mamba 4G before this, I bought it 2 days ago. I had an issue with it just randomly stopping / freezing. I had to unplug the cable from the dock, then plug it into the Mamba and then back into the dock to get it to work again wireless. Or I could have just had it working wired. This happened 3 times in a day, took it back the next day and thought I would give it a chance and get a different one since I love the feel and look of the Mamba, most comfortable mouse I have ever used. 1 hour in it happened again. Had a bit of a cry and took it back and exchanged for the DeathAdder 2013.

Just need to know if this is normal on the DA before I go ahead and take it back, the boys at the shop are probably sick of me.

The one I had had poor feedback on both buttons.

Just poor QC, IMO.

My DA black edition has no problem with its buttons, all work perfectly. The coating, however, is a true nightmare, its easy to get scratches, downgrade way to fast (the surface is not as that smooth after only 4 months of daily use).

Make me wonder what is the chances of me getting a bad DA...

Normal for mice shaped like this. Both switches are the same, but the shape isn't.

The mouse isn't symmetrical. Therefore the switches sound and feel different. There is different openings on one side than the other, that makes the sound different. The plastic bends differently because the mouse is an ergonomic shape, this makes the switches actuate differently.

I have strong doubts it is a switch issue.

Just came across this doing a search - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7HSstSm4Zc

Looks like I'm not the only one. There are people saying they contacted Razer and was told both mouse buttons are meant to sound identical, some had replacements that sound exactly the same again and some got replacements that are fixed.

It's quite disappointing to have such a good looking, comfortable mouse that feels perfect but one thing always has to be wrong with it.

Now to decide if I want to keep it or take my chances and get a new one.

Took it back to the store, and we opened 2 other boxes and looked at the one they had on display. All the same. It really must be a bad batch, will email Razer and see what can be done.

First thing you should do is remove the shell (might want to buy some replacement /hyperglide mouse feet FIRST), by unscrewing the three screws, and then press the buttons with a pinhead or something to verify that both buttons sound and feel identical. If you verify that the SWITCH itself is fine, then you can usually tweak the shell by very carefully bending the "lever" around a bit (a TINY bit), either slightly raising or lowering it relative to the rest of the shell, and then put it back together.
