Games for consoles are more optimized because they use low level code, something AMD is trying to achieve on PC with Mantle.
Couldn't find one about PC elitists. I have a couple of suggestions.

"Games aren't optimized better for console than for PC"
"Keyboard+mouse is always better"
"It takes no skill to play console because of autoaim"
"If you're not an idiot, PC gaming is just as hassle-free as console gaming"

Speaking about emulators, being that the consoles are now x86 can we expect to have emulators sooner now?

Really? Are you being sarcastic?

etc, etc, etc.

There are a TON of console emulators out there. Although the 360 one is the worst of them all.

Let me clarify: PC can emulate some consoles, but not any console in the other form of the word.
Any:
  1. At least one; of at least one kind. One at all.
  2. No matter what kind.
Poor choice of words on my part.

PCSX2 emulator is just about finished. Until recently you could not run games without slowdowns and many games still aren't compatible AFAIK.

Work on RPCS3 (PCSX2 successor) has just started and is not far enough to even run commercial games at all.

Multiple sites claim to have working PS3 emulators with good performance, but they are all fake. The few emulators that will even let you run a game (if they can even do that) have terrible performance. Don't know about the X360 emulator, but that should be the same.
The PS3 emulator you linked is a scam that makes the "developers" money: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20130626072535AAZI46K

Have you actually tried any of the current gen emulators you linked to? There are no confirmed and decently performing emulators for PS3, X360 or Wii U. People want them to be real so bad that bad people abuse it to make the dumb users download useless programs (which the bad guys earn money from) or even malware.

Come on, Knucklehead, you're well versed in PC's, you should know that this is not yet possible by any stretch of the imagination.

PSX2 has been working quite well for quite a while, but it will likely never be perfect because the emotion engine is a weird animal...devs back in those days earned their pay checks I think. I've been tinkering with a GPU plug-in for PSX2 and it is confusing stuff.

The only other emulator more modern than a sega saturn emulator of any note is Dolphin...a Wii emulator (I think it can also do N64 games too). Works fairly well from my limited experience, but I only bought a couple cheap games...not much of a fan of them. So I haven't messed with it much.

The best I've seen out of a Xbox 360 emulator is one that could actually show the start screen of a few games, but that was it. That effort fell apart though...I don't remember the name of it any more, but I remember the website posting the message that they were not going to continue development on it. I've never seen anything for the PS3 though I know a couple groups are spending some free time working on it, but haven't had any real success yet. Though I bet it's been about a year since I've checked up on that.
