Show graphic problems

Every project I had ether grays out "show graphics" and works or doesn't work at all "no work available to process" except for one project which is Rosetta@home. So my biggest question is why does it do this?

only cpu tasks have the option to show graphics. and the graphics are totally optional from the project you are participating in as it doesnt speed up your completely work it can only slow down since it does use a little cpu time. Some projects choose to not write them at all for that reason, other than it takes time to make it.

they used to be cool back in the day for me, but now i just turn my monitor off when its not in use, so no real need for a screensaver.
