Need to do a fresh win7 install, usb partition?

Thread Starter
I've got a million 2gb usb drives around, I need a 4gb.
Is it possible to partition my 500gb external to work/boot and install win7, without having to get rid of whats stored on it currently?

You can't install Windows from with in a running installation.

Think about it. Windows would have to overwrite itself!
