ASUS - EPU - Dynamic Power Management -Enabled ??

Thread Starter
I've been using aisuite to make minor tunes to my overclock, when I find a stable area I reboot into bios and make those my default settings.

I ran the AISuite EPU software and noticed its set to "high performance" i also see a setting called "Dynamic Power Management" which is set to enable. Does anyone have an idea of why that setting is enabled, does it need to be? Does it have any affect on my overclock?

That's why people don't overclock in Windows (ie. AISuite). You have no idea what it's doing or why.

That being said, it automatically reduces voltages to a whole bunch of things when the computer isn't working hard. Performance just reduces them less.
