NZXT Sentry fan controller.

I have fill every three pin fan connection on my Mb and had to run two fans on straight power. I'm looking to get a better case down the road to support my h100 upgrade with cpu ocing. So instead of me upgrading my MB for more fan plugs I might want to buy this item. Cuz right now two fans r running off four pin. Which I think makes it run at full speed right? Has anyone bought this and can give me some inside? I've been eyeballing case with almost 6-8 fans and MB with 6. fan pins. Thanks

Also it has probes for temps. Where should these be places. Back in my older Amd Athlone 3200+ days I was able to place it on the back of the cpu to get a better reading but not with a i5 2500k and socket 1150 or 55 that's impossible. So where can I stick such probes around my case n board.

Depending on what fans you plan to run, you can easily just use a fan splitter. I do not have personal experience with that fan controller, but i haven't heard great things about it either.

Something like this
http://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-Tek-Sleeved-Splitter-CPF01/dp/B00B46XKKQ/ref=sr_sp-atf_title_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1383748019&sr=8-1&keywords=fan+splitter

You just have to use two of the same fan, and you can't use crazy high speed fans on it.

I have the NZXT Sentry LX. I really like it, It really sets off the look of my build. The LCD display always being on is starting to bother me when I leave my PC on. I may just get a slider fan controller instead.

Doesn't it go into idle and dims the leds? Or you can hit a button an turn it off. If that's the case of always being on I'm going to pass cuz my one blue led fan starting to get to me. LOL
