GTX 770 Superclocked will only run Battlefield 4 at 60fps regardless of the settings? - Page 3

Check the following.

a) Try ULTRA settings, and check the cpu and gpu usage.
b) Try LOW settings, do the same.

You will see that at Ultra, your gpu stays at 100%, and your cpu not up there... whereas on low, its the other way around, cpu at 100% at gpu not at max. This is due to the fact that BF4 is a very cpu-intensive game. You need to overclock your cpu.

My friend is having the same exact problem.

Intel i5-4670k,
16gb Corsair Vengeance
MSI Z87-G41
Cooler Master GX 750W

He can't get past ~60FPS. What are your specs?

My friend is running it off a 1TB Seagate as well. I'm gunna tell him to try moving it off of that drive as that's the only part you guys have in common(aside from the GTX 770) Maybe it'll work lol

You're CPU bound.

I'm running a 1600x900 monitor with chrome open and gaming on a 1080p monitor, and I have a i5-2500k which shouldn't be bottlenecking much, and even if it is why does it run at 99% on ultra then?

Running 120fps is harder than running 70fps for the CPU. Much much harder, obviously.
