First time post from a long time reader. So I built this system the other month, And Ive been tweaking on it with my limited know how of overclocking to try and get the systems maximum potential. Here is the system 1st off.
Asus maximus VI formula
ADATA XPG V2 2X8GB DDR3 2400
Nvidia GTX 770
Zalman CNPS9900 D/F
atm Ive narrowed it down to this .
My goal is to achieve the highest possible stable cpu core clock on 1.25V as I am using air cooling.
The uptodate 9.03 bios settings are
BCLK 101.6 X 45 core
ram set to 2400mhz (actually 2438.2 with the BCLK modified -tested alone stable up to 2530's same settings)
Max cache ratio 42
cpu cache 1.5000V (EDIT: 1.150V)
any ideas on how i could get this to 4.6GHz if it was possible with out moving the voltage any higher on the cpu core. so far getting a higher stable cache ratio and the use of the BCLK modifying have got me up from 4.5 to 4.571MHz
And yea I noticed core #2 is always hotter than the rest. never reaches 80c mostly low 70s. The hell with taking the lid off. Im not up to the task.
