MH10 or TH10 for Caselabs, Please read and help me decide!

So it's come down to this over the last few months. I'm going for caselabs.

My build log will be pretty deep. I plan on doing an anime theme for my case, as I've yet to really see one here. It will house figures as well as custom inside job to showcase somewhat. That aside I'll be modding the case window so it's a full blown view.

It's down to the MH10 or TH10.

For MH10: I would grab the pedestal as it has side vents for RADS to put in intake or exhause dual 480's + w/e else on the bottom. Also may add a 36mm riser to the top of the case for additional 480's

This will free up room for my display.

IF NOT

Then TH10 w/ no pedestal and no riser as it would be lacking of about 1-2" in height.

My question, would there be a bigger benefit to the MH10 w/ pedestal as the RAD's would be separated from the case, and what would best airflow practices for positive pressure be for either said case. I want to leave room open enough ultimately for the side view to really get a theme going.

It's a super hard choice and due to hitting the 800$ (due to addons/additional parts) for either case, I have a good reason to be indecisive about this lol.

Hoping to get some clear feedback. As for what will go in them? It's in my sig under the Yuna build along w/ a few parts from the Other build to move over.

Thanks for your time!

why would you get a case like that w/o getting the 1080 rad kit like this

kinda missing the whole point of buying a caselab in the 1st place if you had to buy a pedestal just for rad's biggrin.gif

IMO the only reason to buy a case as big as caselab is so you can mount the 1080 rad internally biggrin.gif

How many radiators are you planning to use? If you use an MH-10 with pedestal you can have two rads below and put your pumps in there too, which would give you more room in the upper compartments. If you plan on putting two rads on top of the MH-10 you'll want a taller extended top like the 85mm version. If you mount upper rads inside the case the shorter top will be fine.

If you want more area for show or you plan on putting your upper rads inside the case then the TH-10 would be the better option in my opinion.

Either one will be awesome for you!

correct me if i'm wrong but don't they also have a extended top for 1080 rad as well? thought i read that from somewhere before....

Thanks for that, though I'm sure there are more reasons than the1080 for it, though I did contemplate running a longer hose outside of my room to a 1080 on the wall to help keep the temp down biggrin.gif

As far as "big cases" are you referring to their THX lol, I'm staying away from that as I don't have the room.

I'm gonna be modding both windows to be full XXXL style types vs the XXL so I can show case a nice theme inside. I'm not sure exactly yet how I will layout the RADs as I'm still reading up on positive/negative pressure etc.

I'm debating on 2-3 480's atm, depending on how I build out. If pedestal 2x 480's in them + pumps (WHICH I like that idea) and at least 1 480 on the PSU side on the ceiling.

I'm sure they will, just at the price I wanna make sure I get what fits the needs better, so hoping to hear from those that have it. I'm curious to hear from other owners on their feelings and such as well as experience. Though what you're saying is helping visual as well so much appreciated. I was thinking IF the MH10 i'd have the RAD on the ceiling w/ 1 fan on the outside (36mm top) and one under neath as I"d just have enough clearance that way (I think) and the rest in the pedestal.

For the TH10 though, I guess I should try and find more build logs that showcase towards what I'm attempting to attempt.

I don't think I've seen it.

I guess what I'm trying to debate most on is, would it be more effective for the MH10 w/ pedestal or a TH10 w/o, and pros/cons to it.

ACTUALLY.... the pic i linked was the MH10 with the 1080 kit installed. if you look closely. the TH10 is ALOT taller then the pic i linked. you can tell the height of the case by referencing the AX1200 that is also in the pic.

Oh I know I was referring to your comment about "BIG CASES" lol sorry.

Right now I"m mainly trying to get feedback on benefits of MH10 + pedestal over the TH10 w/o, if none then I guess TH10 it is, but if there ARE benefits adding the pedestal on the MH10 then I'll go that route.

Appreciate everyones input thus far, my parts list is about ready to go , should be pulling the trigger this weekend on everything else.

the primary benefit is options. with a smaller case, you can build smaller and add onto it if you prefer large. with a TH10 you start out large, so you don't have the option of shrinking it later down the road if you decide that the TH10 might be a tad on the large side.

This helps , appreciate it, I've been measuring my Cosmos 1000 since this and found the interior to be about nearly an inch higher (if any) than the MH10 Trying to just get an idea now, that and the way the pedestals are do they benefit the case more or doesn't matter. Why is this such a hard decision.

I have 2 separate lists of WC parts setup depending on which I go w/. . Anyone else ever been in a situation where they just COULDN"T decide?
