Yea i do leave my computers on 24/7 mostly because its better for the hard drives and i never had a hard drive fail while doing so. Heck i never had this happen before either. And my older customs ran much longer and still works today.
Which to me i still think the psu caused it because power and cooling said the psu had problems when they first got the psu all the voltages was way off, And the thing to they didn't even replace the atx 12v connector which was discolored, They also ony had it for a day too so they couldn't do much testing.
They got back to me and said they going to send me a free shipping label because this is the 2nd rma now. And they even asked is there warranty left on the board and can i send it in for rma. I told them no Because its 4years old.
Computer probably was used 2 to 3 years running because i had problems with it before so it sat for a year while i used the xps 420. The 3.3v was always low but i always thought the software was wrong in bios and in windows which they was not. Was reading around 3.0 to 2.9 at the time than 2 weeks ago it started to read 2.8 and everything went unstable.
Heres the pics of the board with out the heat sinks. Is the caps and the r80s suppose to be slanted like that? i circle them in yellow, And another weird thing i see is if you look at the vrms you see silver dots which they come off very easy i circled them too. is that normal? I wonder if some solder came off and shorted them out or something?
Also the shiny stuff you see over the stuff is the heat sink residue, But yea if i put my nose up to them i can smell the electronic burnt smell.. this cant be fixed right?
