It's ridiculous when people think Intel can't make a good discreet GPU. Take those mediocre APU GPUs out (that can already play 3-year-old games), multiply the transistor count, give it discreet cooling and you got a major competitor.

They obviously have another reason not doing it, low interest in the small desktop market, mainly interested in professional GPGPUs, anti-trust laws in case they destroy both NVIDIA and AMD, or other (entertain me).

edit: Possibly also deals with GPU makers that are secret (possibly with AMD since they are already a duopoly with x86/x86-64 Patents).

I also thought it was about CPU part. This will be yet another disappointment from Intel. I've not been impressed by them since Sandy and that was years ago.
