120gb ssd with 1tb brand new or 250 + my old

Hello all biggrin.gif


Im planning an upgrade to like the title says an 120gb kingston samsung ssd or 250gb


Plan is


:120gb + 1tb re4 entreprise hdd Faster than black and i heard that they make less noise smile.gif

:250gb only with my seagate until it burn or i buy the re4 in some month biggrin.gif


i have 500gb taken right now

1 'TB' in a base 10 -> base 2 conversion gives you around 931 GB of usable space, is that the case?

As for options, if you can afford it I would put as much crap on SSD as you can. If your normal OS + normal application usage exceeds ~119 GB it may just be worth getting the larger one. Personally 128 GB drives are a bit cramped.

932 or 952 originally

Now i 794 with 1 partition of 50gb


But if i made a partition in ext4 or anything linux related windows do not see them i think in disk management i dont remember


Windows 8 i hate it lol



A nah it fine i have 950 gb ahah biggrin.gif did not see the tab was small


Gonna get the 250 smile.gif i think or a 120gb and a h100i lol biggrin.gif


ahah the fun part is i can get a 120gb for 90$ kinsgton v300 not bad but..

If i take a samsung evo 840 250gb the resale value is big all my computer is brand new high quality part except ram and hdd ahaha

Any brand preference controller etc
