[Appraisal] Radeon 6990 with Waterblock

Thread Starter
Hey guys I was wondering if you could help me out. I have a friend that lives in Greece who wants to sell his card and has no real idea of what it is worth now.

AMD Radeon 6990 with EK-FC6990 block that has (surprisingly) never been overclocked as he says he never needed to and to prove it the original tape is still over the voltage regulator switch which ups the voltage for overclocking. He has the box, original cooler and everything it came with.

Thanks for the help we both appreciate it.

Also since he is in Europe I guess the prices there are always inflated so USA pricing is good to give us an idea, but if someone knows how much it would go for in Europe that would be the best.

Thanks again! biggrin.gif

i'd say somewhere in the ballpark of ~250 shipped.

Take a look on ebay to get a fair estimate. $250 is quite low. I would say $300-350 with the waterblock would be a fair price.thumb.gif

not sure how much 6990 cost , but it should not be higher than 7970 with waterblock. 7970 is around $250 right now, so I would say $300 shipped sounds about right.

Actually the 6990 is much better than a 7970. The 7970 scores in Valley average 45-47fps. stock. A 6990 on the other hand scores 60- 65fps at stock clocks. Think your a bit mixed up on performance of these 2 cards. 6990 is definatly more powerful than a single 7970. I should know, went from one to the other and wondered why afterwards.
