well, I am up to 4800 and ran Wprime 1024 twice without crashing.(it is a quick test and loads the cpu nicely) I am showing higher temps then I would like however. I am using HWmonitor. I installed a small fan blowing onto the cpu as people suggested, and also have a 5 inch fan on the side blowing onto the bottom backplane of the mainboard. I did not see the cpu temps drop with the 2 new fans, but the socket temps dropped 9 degrees between runs. I now have the following temps. I hesitate to go any higher on cpu speed with the temps so high.
mainboard 29
socket 61
cpu 69

I have the following voltages in bios.
CPUVDDA 2.7
Northbridge 1.28125
cpu 1.453125

htlink set at 2200 the highest my mainboard will go
dram 1600

northbridge 2200

any advice on what I could do next? Apparently my cooler cannot keep up at these higher clock speeds.

The cpu temps drop instantly as soon as the load test is completed. for what that is worth.

-Pre thanks all!
