Hello everyone, I'm planning to upgrade from my current laptop (Compaq nc8430) to a gaming PC. I don't have any ports in the the room that I want the PC so I'm going to have to go with a wireless adapter. My main option is a TP Link TL-WN881ND which I can get for $28 NZD ($23 USD).

This is the wireless adapter: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833704129

This is my current laptop: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-HP-Compaq-nc8430-Notebook.2664.0.html

At the moment I get speeds of up to around 1Mbps on my laptop through it's wireless internet (New Zealand internet sucks) so will I experience around the same/better internet performance from the specified adapter? If not can someone recommend another adapter? Thanks, any input is appreciated biggrin.gif
