Question Regarding EPS 8pin cable

IS this same as using P4/P8 cable? I'm have fitting issue with the cable on my PSU (Be Quite! Dark Power Pro 10 850W)

The PSU is using 12 slot female ends and the P4/P8 have a 10 pin plug (8 wires, 2 of the plug is hollow) and will not fit unless I remove the locking clip that doesn't mate up with the clocking slot on the PSU

Also are these cable all standardized? I do have a unused Corsair PSU that have a EPS cable and wonder if I can just throw that on?
(unless Corsair does their own thing like it says on the EPS plug "AX760/860 only")

Thanks for helping a noob.

I totally missed the independent EPS slot on the PSU itself.... I'm a retard,

Mod please delete this waste of space I created...
